The Foster Grants and Giving Foundation provides Strategic Capacity for small-budget organizations serving vulnerable communities, providing a multi-dimensional, holistic, dynamic, and flexible system that enables organizations to achieve their vision, mission, purpose, and goals, ultimately serving stakeholders more effectively. Our training and technical assistance services will equip smaller budget nonprofit organizations with the skills and abilities to serve vulnerable communities effectively and efficiently. We focus on Organizational Environment and Context, helping to identify current market and industry trends that affect similarly sized organizations. Our services ensure we review leadership styles and governance, while developing Strategic Factors, Organizational Culture, and Dynamics. Along with developing Communication and Information flow and information dissemination, we ensure that organizations learn how to evaluate success in designing and implementing strategic initiatives. Our capacity building encompasses nonprofit governance, strategic planning and program evaluation, financial management, grant readiness, performance accountability, program structures, performance measurement, budgeting, budgeting systems, costing programs and services, forecasting, differential cost analysis, grants, contracting, risk management, financial Statements, and audits.
Our mission is "Helping the Helpers," which means providing organizational strategic capacity and planning support, program design and implementation, grant readiness, and post-award evaluation to small-budget organizations that lack resources but effectively and directly engage with the community, while delivering direct, impactful programming to foster hope and guidance.
Our vision is to create a future where every small-budget organization we partner with has the proper tools, transparency, and accountability to garner stakeholder support and achieve high-impact programming, while fostering personal growth by pinpointing core strengths, identifying achievement opportunities, confirming aspirations, and diagnosing results to measure progress and success, ultimately enhancing the community's overall well-being.
